Bio

Hi to All!
My name is Alys Herrick.
When we went to Ironton High School and Kingsbury Grade School together, you would have known me as Alys Caroline Spears
After living our entire lives in Ohio, a job opportunity brought my husband Dick and me to Charlotte, NC. We are loving it here! We are both still working. I am the chef at a new tearoom that just opened. Cooking has been a chief focus for me all of my life.
We have 3 sons, one daughter-in-law and one soon to be daughter-in-law. No grandchildren as yet, but two granddogs! My parents, George and Alys Spears, at the ages of 95 and 93, are living in Portsmouth at the Hillview Retirement Center.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next year. May God bless us all to be together then!
