We, the eighth grade Class of `63, like other classes before us, came from our own respective grade schools to Ironton High. We found Ironton High a fascinating place, even though we had trouble in finding our way around.

As we began to feel more at home we "peanuts" began to take part in the numerous activities provided for us such as: the athletic associations, band, and the many sports activities like basketball and football.

We also enjoyed the assemblies and benefit highly from them. As is customary, we, the future Class of `63, sit in the "peanut gallery" during assemblies.

We are looking forward to the day when we will become "upperclassmen".

Our first year at Ironton High has been a very exciting one, and we will always remember it with pleasure. in the years to come we will strive to make a better Ironton High School.
